Solon Community Church is a caring fellowship
of Christians who seek to worship and serve in the name of Jesus
Christ. We are as our name implies: we are a body of believers
who are as diverse as the community in which we are located. We
are not all stamped from one cookie cutter, but are shaped in
differing ways as our creator God has gifted us. As we are a community
church, so we hold under one umbrella persons who come from differing
faith backgrounds and beliefs. We respect and affirm an individual's
walk in faith as God has called each to love and serve others.
We are a church together as we celebrate and praise God in worship,
and by our witness in the world, in our respective places of work,
community and home. We honor God as we lift up and share with
our neighbors unique gifts in which God has endowed us for service.
We are a church as we welcome and accept, teach and encourage,
comfort and challenge, care for and serve others in the name of
Jesus Christ.
We invite all who visit this website to explore the facets of
Solon Community Church, and come be a part of this community of
faith. We invite you to join us in finding new avenues of service
to God's people, and ever deepening paths of faith. We trust that
you will also know the same blessings of being in community -
living lives of peace and hope, joy and strength, serving Christ
